I wanted to open a baking business from my home, because right now I don’t have the money it takes to purchase a bakery, I want to know if I could legally do that in the Ft. Lauderdale area of Florida.

the issue is that some states/cities require things like baking ovens or a minimum size for any company that sells food to the public. i think you can email your city and state and ask the question. or call the agency that inspects restaurants.
